The Emergency First Aid at Work course is suitable for anyone who could possibly find themselves taking charge of an incident where first aid is needed. You don’t need to be an experienced first aider to attend. The training provides a practical introduction to the principles of first aid, while also giving delegates an understanding of relevant workplace health and safety regulations.
During the course, delegates learn how to assess and manage an incident and take appropriate action while waiting for further assistance where necessary. The emergency first aid training covers important lifesaving techniques, including resuscitation, as well as how to respond to common workplace emergencies.
Choking, bleeding, fractures and burns are all covered, giving delegates the opportunity to develop a broader understanding of how different types of injury should be dealt with. The course is focused on providing the basic skills needed to respond appropriately rather than simply knowing what to do in theory.
Upon successful completion of the Emergency First Aid at Work training, delegates receive a certificate and a First Aid book, giving them a useful reference to take away after the course. We also include all course materials and refreshments in the course fees.
